I dont know about you guys, but for us mechanics here in Germany the OCC was basically a comedy show on how to not build things. Its like watching bear grylls and expect to be a survivialist afterwards. Really you watch it because of how ridiculous it is. I remember one time when they built a military bike and one of them walked around with a box of random military gear that he started welding to where ever there was space on the bike. Absolut prime humor.

You gotta sell it back to your neighbor, he seemed stoked having it back

A Las Vegas casino is suing OCC after a patron won the bike, then a few months later the engine fell off the frame and caused injuries. The patron sued the casino and won, and now the casino is suing OCC.

Jessie James said it " I build bikes to RIDE , OCC makes bikes to Look at ."
  • So you bought a trailer for 10k, and it came with a free crappy motorcycle.

I had a buddy get a nice inheritance in 06, he ordered a bike from OCC, they said 8 months but took them 2 years...When he did get the bike It didn't make it 50 miles down the road. Then when he called to complain they ghosted him. He then had the bike towed mack to their shop they trespassed him immediately. Cops showed up and told my buddy they come out once a week for this very thing. "They sell a bike that doesn't run, person brings it back and they trespass them". He sued and they paid him extra for a NDA.

that dude deserves the bike. so humble and full of insights.

What amazed me about the OCC TV show was how stupid and how little people knew about motorcycles but were prepared to spend 1\4 milion dollars on a bike that is basically a full size toy with no brakes. No speedometer. No rev counter. No ignition or even be able to ride the thing due to the geometry making it so unsafe. And less HP than many scooters.

The trailer alone is worth a lot. 10 grand is actually not that bad for the whole package.

A hardtail and a solid tube steel seat? Whoever designed this bike has something against buttocks and spines.

I saw a comment years ago that said in the contact you sign with them they state the bikes are not meant to be ridden but are instead a display piece, and that any injuries you suffer from the bike malfunctioning or essentially falling apart they're not liable for. I've also read that they've had lawsuits from people who WERE seriously injured by their bikes literally falling apart when ridden.

I am not a huge bike fan but I used to watch those clowns back in the day. This particular bike was one of my favorites of all time that they built. I would have loved to have that in a collection. Such a cool bike. Great video!

I was a young engineer when that show was on and I quickly took notice to how the OCC used to just build up the bikes based on looks alone, without any thought to ergonomics or whether it would be safe for the rider to be taking on an extended trip. Then I realized those bikes really were intended to be show pieces and not really taken out ever.
  • @Lapeerphoto
That your neighbor built part of this bike, is off the hook, CRAZY!!! I thought it was another one of your gags, until he started talking about it. WOW.

Fuel injectors would definitely need unblocking after years of bad fuel in them. I have used a 9v battery to activate and free up stuck injectors before. Works like a charm.
  • I used to watch OCC with my dad years ago. He was a disabled Vietnam Vet, and he loved the POW-MIA bike. I bought him the dvd of that episode and bought him the small scale model of that bike. I noticed the 101st Airbourn flag in the background. I used to work in a shoppette on Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
  • @thehorrorhunter
10k for the bike the trailer and the replica race boat is the deal of a lifetime.killer find Sean.
  • @CT-mw7yu
The irony of that death trap being a GEICO ad is amazng.
  • I collect watches and as soon as I saw that box I knew what you were going to open that up and find you are one lucky man I'd rather have that watch than that bike God did bless you with this purchase
  • @JJUSA3
