I like the idea of Baal returning in the corrupted body of a Nephalem... Their destructive power is unparalleled, after all! They singlehandedly destroyed Diablo 2's legacy xD

My favorite thing about Baal is how in the cinematic, he raises his hand to stop his own echo, like "Okay that's enough, you can stop now." So over the top badass!

Baal is easily my favourite prime evil. The game is about his younger brother but I would argue Baal caused the most damage out of all his brethren. What he did to the Worldstone was huge and catastrophic in the entire timeline.

3:58, the lore in diablo immortal revealed a vision in which kuul and tal rasha face baal, to imprison him, on their first attempt, baal shatters the stone, so they must use a shard of it to imprison him, it is not strong enough to contain him in its shattered state- so talrasha comes up with a plan to imprison the demon in a tomb, using his own body as a containment vessel.

Individual power aside, Baal is probably the most terrifying evil to exist in the Diablo universe simply because the guy is a complete and utter nihilist. If he had his way, he'd be hell bent on destroying E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G possibly even himself and/or throwing the entire universe into chaos. He is chaotic evil in the purist sense of the word

I first played Diablo when i was 12 and fell in love with the lore not long ago that - That said, i absolutely love your videos, insights and opinions mate - the fact you're an Aussie too just makes them even more enjoyable haha. Thanks for doing what you do!

I like to imagine that Baal liked his brothers so the idea of Diablo taking his power and gaining a status that could alter the whole war and give the hell an ultimate victory but after Diablo gets killed literally an hour after gaining this power, he's rather dissapointed and separates to do his own thing

Something odd is that when the lore says "Baal is the most reckless of the three" people think that means "Baal is a dumbass". They forget that he's the least cunning, but among hyper competent demonic masterminds. Being the dumbass of three geniuses still counts as being a complete GENIUS.

He's just as able to do deception just as well as Mephisto and Diablo. Considering through out Diablo II, you think that Marius was actually talking to Tyreal, until the end where he revealed himself, killed Marius, and took back his soul stone. Destruction isn't just the complete annihilation of people and things around you. It can also be a mental thing. I believe that people, in the world of Diablo, don't look pass the physical aspects of destruction.
