Rep. Cori Bush becomes second "Squad" member to lose 2024 primary

Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri was defeated in the state's Democratic primary Tuesday by St. Louis prosecutor Wesley Bell. Bush is the second member of the progressive Democratic congressional group known as "The Squad" to lose a primary election this year. CBS News political reporter Hunter Woodall has more.

    As a constituent, she doesn’t do the job. Yesterday at the polls, voters came out to vote her out of office. Rather than accept responsibility, she blames the Jews for her loss. Ha! Another lie. She also fails to mention her campaign was heavily funded, in the millions. We are done with her anger, hate, drama and her sound bites. Now we will have Mr. Bell, who sat on the Ferguson city council and is an excellent attorney. Has and implements productive ideas.
