This song was on replay on the radio when my beloved husband was admitted to the hospital. He used to ask me to get things for him and I'd drive around town picking up whatever he wanted. This song would play and I would breakdown. It was cathartic to cry and sob, and this song helped me to face that I was experiencing two kinds of mourning: in the present moment, needing him and knowing that I'm losing him, memories would always flood at this time, and facing the reality that I would soon be thinking about him in the past tense, and knowing that I still need him. I'm bawling now just thinking about it. Thank you to LeAnn Rimes for producing and delivering such a beautiful song, it is clearly a soul-expression expressing what is real to millions of hearts.
