this feels like one of those things back in the day where people were like "if you max out all your characters, and stay on the pause screen for 2 hours with 100m currency, this happens" and you're stupid enough to believe it
-
"For those who are confused this is not a real in-game feature, i modded it." Could have fooled me.
-
This post unironically got me to check out the entire yakuza series and I've never been more grateful for a meme
-
Ik this isn’t real, but why can’t we have an actual game where the characters busts move on the pause screen, it would be so endearing omfg
-
I love how it’s so ridiculous yet so in line with the Yakuza series that people struggle to tell whether or not it’s a mod
-
imagine if this was a random easter egg if you use the menu for too long they just start killing the dance floor
-
Last year I decided to start playing the Yakuza games starting with Yakuza Zero and all I have to say is holy shit. Seriously the best gaming series I have ever played. The writing, the characters and the ridiculously funny and entertaining details like these just make me live these games even more! I hope they never stop making these games!

I can’t believe this was my introduction to judgment and like a dragon
-
Considering this is Yakuza, I'm more surprised this isn't actually in the game.
-
the fact they're also dancing with a straight face makes this even more hilarious
-
The fact I believed it was real for just over half of it really says something about how crazy these games are lol
-
Honestly, considering that Yakuza: Like a Dragon became a turn based JRPG because people thought it'd be hilarious if the 2019 April Fools "gameplay trailer" became a real Yakuza game, I think it'd be hilarious if Yakuza 8 actually did this.
-
The fact that there are so many people that believed this to be real, and not a mod, is not only a testament to how well done it is, but also speaks to how wild and crazy, the actual Yakuza development team, truly is.
-
Japanese people when they are told to improvise a group dance on the spot
-
"i don't understand, can you break it down for me?" them:
-
The fact that this being a mod wasn’t even on my radar says a lot about these developers…
-
The vacant desperation in their eyes as they bust shapes will haunt me forever.
-
I love how everyone acknowledges you could’ve totally fooled everyone and everyone would’ve accepted it
-
"Honey, pause the game and come down for dinner!" "Ok, give me like 2 minutes." "Oh, is it one of those online games you can't pause?" "Not exactly..."
