Planned power shutoffs. Rolling blackouts. Come on people! No mystery here, it's par for the course with PG&E when there's "extreme" hot weather. Be sure to expect rate hikes too!

I guess with all the new people we need to keep reminding people to use as little power as necessary on heat days, avoid laundry, electric power tools, spare any air conditioning by turning it lower and closing drapes to lock in cool air, turn off extra lights and TV when not using...sensible stuff.Installing solar if you can is also helpful.
