    Its a very accurate pistol. Ergonomics are excellent...... but the trigger sucks. You can replace the stock trigger with a volquartsen unit and it helps.... a little. So its a very good pick for an entry level "plinker" pistol in 22 LR. If you are looking to do serious target work there are better picks out there. Its also a bitch to disassemble and clean.

    I wonder how much velocity/ power is lost on a Ruger 1022 vs a bolt action 22lr.... since the bolt isnt fixed in place when fired...
