I love this song! It came up on my feed. I Can't believe it's been 41 years. Look at how beautiful and wholesome she looks. No fake hair, body makeover, excessive make-up, tattoos, etc. Very natural and feminine. I really miss the 80's music, fashion, love and respect we had for one another. God is Love.

RIP to my sister that fattened up this tune as a backup singer. Her name was Marie Council and Miss King was gracious enough to come and meet our family.

Man oh MAN! The dance floor was PACKED when this song came on. We had so much fun jammin to this tune. The arrangement of it The execution of it was top notch. So infectious. It truly highlighted her vocals and sense of harmony.

I was born in 1973. White father/ Black mother. My father introduced me to his style of music and my mother introduced me to hers. This was 1982 and Thriller blew this out of the water. I was too young to appreciate it. My mother used to play this alllllll the time on our "hi-fi stereo" with Patrice Rushen, Earth Wind & Fire, Cameo etc. This brings back so many memories of my mother asking me to dance with her. I now keep EVERY SINGLE SONG I come across now. Even if I hate them. I have been collecting since the 80's and digitizing all the music. I have over 150,000 MP3s now.
