Bloomington Rooftop Quarry

We visited the rooftop quarry where the movie Breaking Away was filmed. Some kids were goofing around on the rooftop, but didn't jump from there. The quarry is on private property and technically everyone who enters is trespassing. Bloomington really should work with the quarry owners to make the place available as a tourist attraction due to its placement in the movie.

It's the most wonderful water in the world!! The IU divers would do some spectacular dives off the farthest wall.

My friend died jumping into that quarry, and he wasn’t the first person this happened to. It really is stupid.
