OH LAWD SAY IT AIN'T SO!!! Not my gurl SERENA!!!!!!😖😢 She's been baptized as a JW and I'm not sure how to feel about it. Happy? Sad? Jealous? Regretful? Maybe a little of everything. I guess I'll let it off my chest.

TIME to RANT 😂🙏🏽💜

  • She got pregnant before marriage, slaute the flag, dated celebrities and now she gets married after she retires. She got to live her dream while being associated with the JWs. How much money did she put in the contribution box?

Her baptism gave all parents the green light to let their children live their lives. Let them join sports teams like I'm doing. I couldn't play basketball in high school when coaches begged my parents to do so. Who knows where I could've been with an athletic scholarship. Now my daughter has that chance because I'm letting her play ball and she now has the chance to pursue her dreams.

Watchtower has destroyed so many lives Lord help Serena and All mislead
  • WTS wants her monetary contributions that she'll probably donate due to her guilt complex!
  • "Black people are addicted to Christianity." Boy, you are incredible with your one-liners. I mean, it's true! You are a bright woman, it's why I love listening to your opinions and views - they are SPOT ON! The timing of Serena's baptism is so darn suspect. Why now Serena? I think we all need Serena to address that question and request that she be completely transparent and HONEST about the reason(s) why.

🗡️🤴🏾🛡️ When celebrities join Watchtower like Prince and Micheal they soon die.🗡️🤴🏾🛡️
  • I think Serena will be under a magnifying glass by other witnesses. How she dresses, where she goes, if she is still associating with her worldly friends. Will she be required to turn in time? And of course they will have to break up her marriage to that worldly man. She needs to be with a Circuit overseer or better yet a GB member. 😂😂 Wouldn’t that be a trip? I think this is going to blow up in Watchtowers’ face. The people will finally get to see the unfairness in how certain people with lots of money are treated compared to those who don’t have much in that organization.
  • Children can spot hypocrisy’s a mile off so I hope they see this as a fine example to follow. Wait until they finish college, achieve their goals and then maybe get baptized. I sure hope this blow up in watchtower face royally.
  • Perhaps she now decided to please her JW mother. She "pleased" her dad for helping her be a big tennis player, sports figure. Perhaps. 👍

I was more surprised when Prince as a baptized jw was getting awards, attend those shows and wearing clothes we jw young ones were not allowed. Here in my country most innocent sheep doesn’t have any clue that these celebrities are Jehovah’s favor. I was the lucky one who can understand English and had gut to see the net about them.

I do think there is something nefarious going on with her getting baptized. Also, girl did you see the video footage of on lookers idolizing her. Oh ya! This will make current JWs swoon even more for the Watchtower.

I honestly don't think she's going to retire all those tight dresses
  • Serena did exactly what I did. My mom became a JW when I was 11 years old. It was all I knew. I didn’t get baptized. I left and made a life for myself. I came back after tragedy in 2005 and got baptized. Like I said it was all I knew. So without actual research (just a “Bible” study) I returned. I believe the time I spent outside of the organization, caused me to be able to think critically. I started to do real research in 2014 after David Splane gave the Type and anti type talk at the annual meeting that year. I decided to do some fun research and I found that all of the anti typical doctrine was false. It was a painful realization, but it was necessary for my spiritual growth. Here’s the thing: I believe that God guided me back to the JWs in order for me to find Him and Jesus. I also believe that I had to go through the fire in order to help my family to get out. I believe that the same journey is ahead of Serena. Right now she still believes that it’s the Truth. She’ll wake up one day soon and at that time she’ll have a decision to make, whether to stay in or lose her family and friends. We all face that decision at one time or another in the organization. We just have to trust that God is in control and not let the GB take God and Jesus away from us.

I came into the Borg after being traumatized in real life. Unfortunately, I was looking for safety and acceptance. What I didn't expect was to be retraumatized and terrorized for 42 years believing it was the Truth. I went against their "seeking higher education is evil" and got educated. I can't get those years back, but I am free.

Being a former disfellowshipped witness myself you are spot on about everything that you had said about this organization because it’s true.
  • Great Work! Plus, I love your strong, creative, black girl magic FLOW!!!
