I love it. Thanks for the video. I had an XS400 in college in the 80's. I loved it then. No electric start. Drum brakes. I rode it all over. One of my favorite things was to fill up the tank and try to get lost in the countryside, sooner or later you would pop out and know where you were. Great bike for getting to class on time.

Thank you

Beautiful XS400!

I bought one just yesterday and I just can't wait to pass my exam for my license. These feel so powerful for 400cc too I'm super impressed :)
-
My dream now is to get my 79 XS400 out of my shed and back on the road this summer.
-
Love this!

Did not expect to hear Alan Watts when I clicked this! Great video :) Nice bike!
-
Beautiful video! makes me wish i spent less money on my cars so I could afford to get my 81 XS400 back on the road!
-
Very well put together video! Id suggest to add more sound of the bike in the video. Good work!

Question? What was the rearset you used for this bike? I would love to know and put the same one on my bike?
-
where's that boxy tank from?
-
CV carbs with such small pods ? .... How well does it operate at speed ? .... No flat spots ?
-
What front end did you use on this? I picking up one of these bikes tm?
-
Damned shame it wasn't about the motorcycle, which is what I searched for. I would have far preferred the music of the motor to whatever that was I had to listen to. What a pity... it was a fine looking little bike.
