So sick of multi millionaire celebrities saying "we busted our butt"
  • @codydaniel3097
The "I suffered so should you" mentality is miserable energy.

Thank you for shutting her up! She gets on my nerves!!

I returned from overseas in 1975. We rented a furnished, one bedroom apartment in Monterey, CA for $180 a month. With all of my pay and allowances I was making around $650 a month. We could make it on that and then I got government quarters on Fort Ord. I have no idea how young people can get out of their parent's house today. How much is an apartment in Monterey, CA today? I know it's over $180.00.

Funny how these millionaires are trying to gaslight the younger generation while they live the high life

It’s such a slap in the face. I did everything everyone told me to do. I worked hard in school, got the degree, found a career and I still live paycheck to paycheck in debt just due to cost of living. I don’t have expensive habits, I have a strict budget, and every effing week is a struggle. Only to hear some billionaire say it’s my fault for being lazy
  • That is 100% right. I'm 67, and they're sticking it to us at this end too.

Whoopie is out of touch. No one wants her opinion anymore.

I don’t want to work 4 hours. That’s how many they give me and I beg for my coworkers, who are also begging me, for hours
  • As a 67 year old Boomer, I have great empathy for this younger generation. everything was cheaper and more affordable in the 1970s and 1980s But the rising costs affect me too. Property taxes, medical gap insurance, lowering of Social Security benefits in 11 years, and on and on. We are all suffering from the outrageous cost of living❤

This is the same generation that failed us. Great video.
  • I work 40 hours a week and can’t afford a home. That shouldn’t happen.
  • @Styrofoam-ee
Doesn't matter how hard you work when prices become unobtainable.

I'm Gen X, 😊and I agreed with the author of this video The Millennial Gen are screwed

My elderly client watches the View all the time and OH BOY ARE THEY INCREDIBLY HYPOCRITICAL
  • @mcvenne8935
Four hours a week? Has she spoken to a single young adult that wasn't privileged in her entire life?

I’m so tired of rich, out of touch celebrities telling my generation to get off their asses & work when in reality we work so hard at back breaking jobs, spend our money to get degrees for jobs that pay garbage, do excessive amounts of over time or shift covers yet still can barely afford to feed ourselves & keep a roof over our head.
  • @SClay2021
Well said. I created my own business and worked up to 100 hours pee week to keep that running. I live basic af and a lot less basic than some. My dad bought a house for a few thousand when he was 20. Literally. That same house is now probably 200k at the very least. How is that even fair? 😢
  • 😂😂😂 I thought she had a general point until I realized she was saying younger generations just don’t want to work.😂😂😂
