Not quite my story but the cascade of Dr visits regular and functional are overwhelming especially when you don't feel good. Getting your hopes up and then no progress and the financial toll and relationship struggles. On and on. Only someone who has gone through this would ever understand. Mold is just the worse, it is a thief.
  • I had all that. and a horrible rash. I was accused of being on drugs from my family . I had to leave the state I lived in. I moved 9 times in 2 1/2 years. 4 years later I'm not perfect but I am much better.

Unfortunately I've been dealing with these issues all my life and Im 63 all alone and renting an old farm house where the basement leaks and had 5 unches of water for months over the summer but I didnt realize it. I had given up on because the doctors would check my said rate and ESR and tell me everything was fine although it was never close to fine. I was diagnosed with CFS at 26 furst at U of M and later at the Cleveland clinic. I had so many symptoms but looking back I had symptoms at a young age. Now I had a family hey my mother a narcissist and a sister and brother that are narcissist and then best friend that's likely borderline or and number of other people including a whole host of doctors that love to tell you that it's in your head. So I had a very weird work history or at work and then I couldn't work and then I go back to work. I went to nursing school and graduated at 30 and although it was just an associate degree I was 4.0 and had the highest grade point in the class. But it took every ounce of energy and people have no idea the hell that I went through and then when I was a nurse the stress of nursing where I would work 3 days a week and then 4 days a week I would sleep utterly exhausted. But I've got IBS leaky, parasites, trouble focusing when they have me on ADHD meds and I'm on the maximum dose which I started about 12 years ago of Vyvanse and strattera and I'm actually over the maximum dose. They gave me antidepressants and bipolar meds and every one of them made me a thousand times worse where I couldn't sleep at all and did that for 25 years. Then they gave me Seroquel for sleep cuz through this whole thing from the time I was a child I couldn't sleep which sounds like ADHD and I had tourettes but now I'm even questioning that because as I got older I realized if I took antihistamines the truck symptoms would go away. Back in the nineties I had fasciculations over every area of my body it felt like I was going insane. So I went to an alternative medicine doctor and he went through and said I had leaky gut and multiple food sensitivities. I had already known about the allergies and I was told anybody ever asked you tell them you're literally allergic to everything. but everybody would say well why don't you get the allergy shots even though I've been to an allergist at least six times but when you're like this there's no way you're going to be able to stay on a schedule and do that because I might be blown out for days and I was always extremely forgetful which is pretty amazing that I got through nursing school like I did. Some of the things I've been reading made a lot of sense. Add three other siblings but none of them had the issues I had but I wet the bed so I was 12 years old and of course scolded as if I were doing it on purpose and terrible ear infections and sinus issues and vertigo and sometimes the vertigo was extremely hard to detect and then I found out the vertigo will make me feel like Im in another world and I would get this heavy sensation like I was sleepy I get confused but if I close my eyes I could feel everything moving one way just ever so slightly and that took me a long time to decipher but if I could get my ears and my nose to free up and drain it would give me tons of relief almost instantly. Some people have said they had numbness and tingling which I've had but I never drink to I was 24 and some guy made some beer and the day after it felt like my lips hands and my feet had vibrators in them them. I had panic attacks but it wasn't like I was fearful at the time and that started at the very beginning but I could not allow myself to even get remotely excited set me off and I would get these waves going through me and it would just drop me to my knees and my blood pressure a couple times when I had to be taken to the hospital was like 2:20 over 120 but almost all the time after that and then in between my blood pressure would be perfectly normal.. For about 10 years I had my pulse stay in the 100 to 110 range. In the 90s I had stumbled upon a book by a nurse and she had tied chronic fatigue syndrome with mitral valve prolapse and one other thing which escapes me. About the same time I found out about CoQ10 and this was in the early nineties before people even knew about it like they do today and for maybe 6 years 7 years I noticed I was a little better when I took the CoQ10 so I just decided I would take me to and started 6 to 800 a day and that pulled me out of a lot of the trouble including megadoses of vit c. And that I believe took care of the mitral valve prolapse and that was my third test at about age 40 finally ending the panic type of attacks. . I also had my amalgalm fillings replaced with porcelain feelings taken out and they said I had arsenic levels that were extremely high and did chelation for thst . And now I just remembered it was like Autonomic nervous system disorder and that time tirad of symptoms she believed were the source of the chronic fatigue. Well I did much better in the early 2000s but looking back I was always sleeping c. ouldn't do much other than just go to work but I didn't really have a life.. But now I can look back at all these times when I did the worst and it was always in an environment that was wet and moist and moldy. Then there was temperature just regulation which I've had since I was a kid but never thought too much of it. But I would have to drink 10x the water everybody else did and I still would be dehydrateted. If I don't drink enough water I get terrible cramps. Strangely I would notice that magnesium or potassium would not fix the cramps but salt would. In fact many times when I had episodes over the years and went to the hospital they would say my sodium was just below normal or very low but they blew it off. So last year with the insomnia I read an article by a pharmacist saying in 1984 they had a study that showed low salt levels triggered chronic insomnia. He said when your sodium is low your body releases norepinephrine and boy did that make sense because when I had insomnia it felt like I was wide awake but I sometimes hadn't slept in days. So I started taking huge amounts of salt and for a while that helped me sleep and it's the quickest way that I can get rid of my cramps along with the water. In fact lately it's been almost impossible not to soak my bed when the temp is in the low 60's.. the reason I mentioned in these symptoms is because I saw video in early September where a doctor tied in all these weird symptoms that I was having explaining that the SED and ESR we're the wrong pathway for mold along with explaining how the hypothalamus is involved. I'm not sure how it ties in but I've always had trouble gaining weight. Annabelle a lot of problems with hypoglycemia over years. So right now I'm in the house after a divorce 3 years ago and I can hardly walk through this house some days because all my muscles hurt all over my body and I have some back problems and roughly 9 years lost my job because the doctors lied about the diagnosis and it's a long story but seven surgeons including ancillary staff lied because somebody missed it on the original CAT scan MRI but four years later I proved with the help of a physical therapist that I had a severe retrolithiasis of L5-S1 but couldn't do anything about it and should have got disability but because I want to work the company doctor denied me and then I was sick with parasites at 120 lb and my ex-wife lied to me and said I had over 90 days to reply back and so I lost everything. About 70% of all the food out there I can't eat and within days I'll be super constipated. I'm super sensitive to chemicals and I've been telling people for decades that the barometer effected me. If a storm comes through I feel wonderful for a short while. Then I got 5G and I have to shut it off because it makes me nervous and I cannot sleep with it on. I'm sorry about all the grammatical errors but there's more as if thats enough. So if I can get these tests done I hoping mold literate doctor can help. And if not, Ive long ago given this to God.

Thank you for this interview. I, too, started getting symptoms in 2016. It started with a rash and what I thought was fleas, then hives or shingles. Then horrible abdominal pain (like labor) for hours, anxiety, depression, brain fog, fatigue. Lived in hotels. Got help from a naturopathic doctor. Moved into a new house in the foothills, after 3 years got symptoms again. Mold in that house, went back to my doctor (2.5 -3 hour drive once a week for infusions) moved out and got rid of my belongings for the second time. Moved to a furnished rental...got well, but had different molds in my system. Couldn't afford another $15,000 out of pocket medical care. I had no phone service, so I had to move since I work out of my home. Bought a house in January 2023...got mold again. I am getting remediation done, but had to move out and now I'm living in hotels and my timeshare again. It's very difficult to have a good attitude, but I am learning that it's imperative to my healing. I have an appointment with a more local mold-literate doctor (only 1.5 hours away) tomorrow, so I'm hoping my recovery will be quicker since I know the drill and have experienced healing in the past. The hardest part is knowing what items to keep and remediating the mold in the house. Mold is very sneaky and relentless. I also learned that there is a missing gene in some people who are sensitive to mold. I was very healthy before all of this. No meds, yoga and walking, good diet. I hope I can afford to get completely healthy so I can combat future reactions. I feel very alone in this journey because people don't understand, but it helps knowing that there are others, like all of you who do. Thanks again!

Do you all accept out of state Medicaid? I live in KY. I am bankrupt and unable to work....so Medicaid is my only option to get care. No one in the state where I live can help me with the care that I need....

I was told to try Trizomal Glutathione and was wondering if anybody with this same symptom set had tried it. Too expensive to waste...
  • Sounds like CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) from Mold. Are you checking to see if your genes right themselves or it will continue to come back?
  • Try ... Potassium iodine supplement. I ordered some at.. Morgellons direct. Good stuff, good deal. I am dealing with .. Vally fever fungus, and probably other types, most likely from cutting moldy firewood with my chainsaw. I live on 40 acres in the gold country foothills in California. And I had a wildfire come through my property in 2015, and I've been cutting old dead trees, logs, leftover from the fire, some of which is really moldy at times, So its nearly impossible to cut without accidentally coming in contact with mold, fungus. Ect. I also made the mistake of bringing Moldy firewood inside my camper, and I contaminated the inside of my camper with all sorts of things, sometimes bugs 🐛 too. So I quit cutting firewood altogether. Mostly use a propane heater now.

I am 3 years into a study. Both have all the symptoms of black mold. From cough to brain dysfunction. They will do nothing to remove the mold. So I will study them and intend to write a book. The girl is far along liver problem now repertory problem has started. Both have extreme anger issues. Even the dog has become aggressive and has allergies. Dog is given a pill a day for it. I also found you must check washing machine and under toilet rim. The black mold was 1/2 inch thick and slimy. A true primordial event is taking place. :hand-orange-covering-eyes:
