I really love when Gabby becomes more fluid when she recognizes Jonah, but the line in particular “Look at how well you’ve grown.” Is particularly heartwarming. She’s happy that Jonah turned out alright despite everything he’s been through as a kid.
  • i like how gabby went on an expression walk. "who the heck is this guy breathing heavy" to "oh my god its my jonah" and just being so happy to see him all grown up...

I have said it repeatedly...but this is wholesome horror as I put it. This was one of my favorite short series for a while. While it left a lot of questions it felt... complete.

I love how Gabby's animation becomes more fluid (if a bit glitchy) at the end. You can tell how much these two care about each other. <3

Oh gosh I'm legitimately crying now. It's been said by almost everyone by this point, but the wholesome spin on analog horror is such a fresh take, and having the mysterious, show-breaking anomaly be someone who genuinely cares for Jonah was so sweet. The part where he realizes that it only works for live broadcasts of the show and decides to stream it over Twitch was also such a clever idea - I love the idea of merging analog horror with digital horror, and this pulls it off in such a smart way. I'm so glad I stumbled across this series, and while I'm sad to be on the final episode, it truly was a perfect ending. Best of luck with all your future endeavors!
  • Being an autistic child that couldnt figure out why it was so hard to connect with others, I often dreamed of befriending the cartoons i watched. I even the 'childish' notion that one day i could create a device that could bridge that gap. Now that I'm older, wiser, and not as alone as i used to be ive all but forgotten that dream. But, watching this series has dug up memories that i haven't thought of in a long, long time. You've given me much to ponder on for the next few days Mr. EastPatch.

This has to be the biggest subversion in online media since the inception of Youtube. "The cute things turn out to be a monster out to get you" has become so standard issues that everyone expects it. So while it turns out Gabby is indeed a supernatural entity, she legit wants what's best for Jonah instead of being some random horror out to harm the next poor smuck playing a random video tape.
  • It's the most heartwarming Wham Shot I've ever seen! He met a childhood friend again and proved that he WASN'T delusional! Edit: Not going to lie, I shed a tear when I saw Jonah pull it off!
  • If this was the ending, Ive gotta say i really enjoyed it. The "wholesome" sort of take on the lost episode/ hainted tape thing was awesome, and pacing of the series was really solid between all the uploads. You guys did a great job making Gabby unnerving without having her do anything explicitly malevolent onscreen. Having THAT be the ending point was definitley a good touch. It definitley feels like Jonahs slid back into something that wasn't exactly healthy. Id love to see more stuff like this from you all. Everyone involved did a great job!

Absolutely love the detail where Gabby glitches while pulling forward, as if she had to fight through the programing in order to move freely, and how the glitching mostly stopped once she broke through. And seeing her move more fluidly when talking with Jonah was so neat! I'm really happy Manly brought me here.

Gabby's "look at how well you've grown" has the same energy as Hinawa's "You must be so exhausted" from MOTHER 3. Both of them wanna make me sob and cry and sob and cry
  • @lesagna4867
I grew up in abuse,,, there are no words for how strongly I wish someone could have protected me. Gabby holds a special place in my heart for this reason and I WILL be making fanart soon !! Great job on this series !!
  • @BEELZEBABE69
"Just look how much you've grown" WELP I'M SOBBING
  • So Angel Gabby became aware of Jonah’s abusive father and she teaches Jonah how to avoid any cruel extent..
  • I'm going to be the cynic and say it: I get the worst feeling that Jonah is going to get unhealthily obsessed with Gabby now that they're reunited. To the point he'll forsake everything else but her and she'll have to leave him for his own sake. I hope and PRAY I'm wrong about that. Seriously, please don't pull that kind of edgelord bull. Y'all will break all of our hearts. Still, amazing series. A lovely subversion of expectations. Deserves a lot more attention.

Im so happy that Gabby's not actually secretly evil, it's so refreshing that the cryptic anomaly of the series is actually a genuinely harmless creature with no grudge on humanity. It's also interesting that Angel Gabby's the actual Gabriel in the series, and is probably only able to speak directly to viewers through screens.
  • This Analog horror series is criminally underrated. This have to be one of my favorite analog horror series, if not, my top favorite! I love how it subverts expectations twice with Angel Gabby. For starter: in an analog horror series with a titular character, they’re usually the main antagonist. And secondly: in analog horror series involving Christianity, the one posing as ‘angel’ are quite the opposite of an angel. Not that a lazy route to take for an analog horror, I’m just saying that what usually happened. But here, Angel Gabby turns out to be legit and not at all malicious. She genuinely care for Jonah. The ending, when they both reunite and touch the screen, make me all watery eye. A satisfying ending for an amazing analog horror. That’s not to say this series is flawless. I find this series a little too short. Don’t get me wrong, 8 episodes with a runtime between 2:02 and 4:12 isn’t that short for an analog horror series, but I kinda wish there were several more episodes with this series or maybe expanding some of the videos. Other than that, it’s was a pleasure to watch this series. And I hope it get the recognition it deserves. Thank you The East Post for creating Angel Hare. Rating:8/10
  • Aww, the touch on the screen, the feels! Bravo! My, an excellent ending! And what an awesome jukebox!
  • Slight Spoilers. Do not read until having watched the whole thing. 1:49 Such an eerily heartwarming scene. The slight, but sudden change in animation hinting that this entity is more than just a cartoon character is such a neat touch. The tone in her voice sounds like that of a mother reconnecting with a long lost son, despite being a cartoon character. It's that strong sense of nostalgia, and that feeling of reconnecting with a loved one that just hits you right in the feels! Incredible work for such a short video! Keep it up, boss!
