Leave it to greedy ford ceo to add overtime to paycheck amount. Who tf wants to work 7 days a week 12 hour days to make 90k. $90k to give up ur family is bull crap.
  • @jeremyjdl713
What the ford ceo isn’t mentioning is that the average worker basically LIVES at a plant to make anywhere near that amount of money, and that’s the issue! Auto workers don’t want to waste away working 12hr shifts 7 days a week just to make 70-90k. What the greedy CEOs don’t understand is that autoworkers actually want to have lives outside of the plant.
  • @OldArmy-vc6rd
If the auto makers made 21 billion in half a year, they should be able to outlast a six month or longer strike.
  • @219tochi3
boob hoo 10 day strike. Were prepared for 3 months or longer.
  • @dvdv8197
Instead of asking what economic impact a couple of months of striking could mean, why don't we ask ourselves what DECADES of AWFUL TREATMENT AND EXPLOITING OF WORKERS causes!?? 😤😤 THESE QUESTIONS ARE ALL WRONG AND IT'S BY DESIGN. BE BETTER, MEDIA!! 😤😤😤😤
  • @Jamko1970
A good deal???? What a joke!! LMAO...
  • @tezo46
Even the CEO has said the ford economics is with overtime. Most people don’t want to work 60 hours a week to make 98k. Their statement is very misleading
  • @abc-5691
Terrible deal from ford your joking saying it was good..
  • @dvdv8197
And they just repeat what these big 3 are saying WITHOUT STATING THE OBJECTIVE FACT THAT THEY DO IN FACT NOT TRY TO ADVANCE IN THESE NEGOTIATIONS. SHAME ON YOU MEDIA!!
  • @aacaac1760
Also, FORD workers do not have a pension plan. That was bargained away
  • @gobbletegook
In 2007 or so, GM laid off thousands and/or offered them buyouts. They said they did it to save costs. Well, the prices of GM products skyrocketed, and the top exec's got huge salary increases. They lied to us--and made even more money

Look at Shawn Fain man, so inspirational. ❤
  • Stay UNION strong, don't settle for peanuts! The CEO's sure as hell didn't! ✊
  • @warrendarrah2555
More pay for less work. More benefits. Just add it to the price of vehicles that most people can't afford. Do you see any problems in the future? I do.
  • @toddcapota5910
Car companies would rather shutdown production and lose billions than pay fair wages and benefits. Pathetic
  • The government gave the manufactures billions for transitioning to EV so this claim of it being expensive holds no water.

So important that the union remains strong! The power is always with the people, we must always hold big corporations accountable! #unionstrong
