No one will love you if you're unattractive. It sadly is true these days. People only want to date/marry someone based on looks. All I care about when I get a boyfriend or married is his personality. I still love this song. And the line, "no one will love you if you're unattractive," always gets me. We live in a society where you get titled on your looks. Sometimes, people aren't like that, and you need to cherish those people. And we need more of them. Everyone is beautiful no matter what. :)

This is one of the most meaningful songs I've ever heard. When you aren't like everyone else you feel low. So low that you'd do anything to look like everyone else. You'd pay so much to have young beautiful skin again. It's disgusting how the world operates. But it won't change. Yes, lookism will be a bit more accepting, but it will never go away. Everyone has eyes, everyone has opinions. It's just sad. The only person you should truly love is yourself. Because when everyone is gone, you're the only one who can build yourself. That's why melanie Martinez is my favourite artist next to bts. Because she has meaningful lyrics. She writes about self love.
