So I happened to catch the attention of that nightmare fuel thing in vicinity of Hateno Village, but little did he know, i had a trump card up my sleeve, the indomitable spirit known as Korok who sent him to the depths of hell whence he came…

The gloom hands were leaving before interacting with the Korok 0:17 . It's still a good theory to try interacting with an NPC to cancel the gloom. After overcoming them l, they're like child's play

There's a reason why the Sacred Forest's Phantom Ganon was hiding in the depths like a bitch, he couldn't take on all those koroks

It's been told that "Ya-ha-HAH!" in the Korok language translates in English to "Call an ambulance... but not for me!"

I like how the Gloom Hands didnt enter the house, like they need permission or something
  • Considering they’re completely unfazed in the midst of Calamity Ganon’s revival in Age of Calamity, we should’ve seen this coming

Gloom Hands: "Come face us like a hero!" Link: "Can you shut up? I need to get a korok seed." Gloom Hands: "Oh, sorry 'bout that." despawns
  • Im keeping this as head cannon. The sheer innocent goodness of the Korok is like kryptonite to the Malice manifested by the gloom, vaporising it instantly if taken unawares, driving it off otherwise.

The helicopter leaf was so powerful it blew away the red sky

Well now we know why they went after the Great Deku Tree first

This is startlingly similar to a rumor that in NES Zelda, playing the Whistle could cute Bubble curses. In reality, temporary Bubble curses only lasted a few seconds, and the timer was running even while the Whistle paused time to play its haunting tune, so by the time it was done the curse had expired. Even though it wasn't actually curing the curse, it had the exact same end result. ❤️ Didn't work on persistent curses, though, for that reason.

so after you saved the deku tree, you see 3 koroks floating down. as if they were about to save the tree if you just waited 2 minutes

I mean considering the Korok Seed description, I wouldn't like the smell of them either lol
