Just Stop Oil protesters arrested at Gatwick Airport

Seven members of the environmental activist group tried to block access to the south terminal’s central search area where passengers are screened.
Video shared by the group showed passengers climbing over the protesters — who had painted orange boxes — to enter the security screening area.
Barriers were erected around the protesters and passengers diverted through a different entrance before the group was removed. There has been no disruption to flights.

Why hasn't security removed these people? If I started laying across the floor at an airport, the airport security would quickly appear, remove me, and hand me over to the police.

Do these people not have jobs to go to? Surely it's a security risk, how did they get that far into the terminal?

If airport security was doing its job properly they would all be swiftly handcuffed to the nearest fixture, preventing them from obstructing travellers.

That is plain pathetic, they are payin homless people and elderly to do this so the police cant touch them, or they will call wolf to say they hurt them.

Can their bank accounts be scrutinised for payments from charities and NGO's? Some Big Club rich knobhead is no doubt behind all this disruption?
