I have never seen them run an engine this long before, we have come a long way, this is so amazing.👍👍👍
-
I love how they switch from a rocket engine to the cloud making machine NASA owns.
-
These RS-25 engines were reusable when they came back on the space shuttle. So were the side boosters that were retrieved after splashdown in the ocean. It is unfortunate that SLS can't do that kind of stuff, awesome rocket though it is. Many there will be another shuttle some day..

Usually they are a lot further away by the time they've been running that long. 🤯😎 I also think they should be using that exhaust area to test small wind mills, maybe recoup some of the electricity used.

Congratulations NASA! Greetings from INDONESIA 🙏🏻🇮🇩

How long was the test supposed to be?
-
they should crank the throttle up

When all your friends vape and gather in one room

What are those two arms that move away from the engine upon ignition?
-
Still testing rockets on the surface of earth 50 years later @ $10 million a pop. If ‘impressive’ had a music video this would be it.

Fly me to the Moon! 🔥🔥😀

When will Thailand have a station to launch rockets to explore the moon?
-
What's that 5 times the 3 to 4
-
Wonder how big the lighter was for that fuse lol
-
The performance was amazing!!!

I miss the lazy free hydrogen/ignition spark boxes that the shuttle popped off just before ignition Magnesium/iron spark spitters, heavy on the iron. Crack!, Crack!, then you knew pumps were set free. 8 min to orbit standard test. C'mon Nasa, let that sucker hum for a 1/2 hr. Lets see if it lives. I'll put in a 5ski for the fuel.

Now that’s worth watching 😊
