Of all the christmas related action films, Lethal Weapon os the most Christmasy, it deals with themes of family and loss, dispair and redemption, At the end of the movie when Riggs joins the Murtaugh family to the tune 'Ill be home for Christmas' you feel how much hes healed. To me, this movie in so many ways is all the things Christmas is all about.

Oh I think you guys are going to enjoy this one!! Mel and Danny have great chemistry!! Lethal Weapon 2, 3, and four have some comedic spots in them. This first one really introduces you to the guys .

This is how I view Lethal Weapon. It is one movie, one story, with four chapters. You have only seen chapter one. The movie is not complete until you have saw all four. Character growth and development throughout. Even added characters.

Thank guys so much for reacting to this timeless gem. I have always loved the Lethal Weapon movies. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were the perfect buddy cop pairing. I never get tired of Danny Glover's line "I'm getting too old for this shit".

When people question me about Lethal Weapon being a Christmas movie, I remind them it's a rough time of the year for many depressed or mentally ill people, and should be acknowledged and discussed, which Lethal Weapon does.

Speaking of Christmas: The actress playing the part of Danny Glovers wife is DARLENE LOVE a great singer , she had a huge hit with the Christmas song “Baby , Please Come Home” before Mariah Carey did !!

The Lethal Weapon movies are great action flicks. The best thing about the series is how much the characters grow through them. It’s not just more of the same every time.
