  • The way this whole scene is constructed is just genius. How the script builds tension and the relationship between Q and Bond, Roger Deakins' perfect camera work, and the way the editing and sound design and even the dialogue all work so organically and deliberately with Thomas Newman's score. It's like the whole film has a swelling rhythm and a heartbeat that works so organically with the narrative. Just perfection.

4:19 I absolutely love the face Bond makes when Q tells him to get on the train when it’s leaving

The biggest problem with that plan was one of the very elements involved in it -- since when do the trains run on time in London?
  • @CaioH.
Remembering this masterpiece after 9 years and having watched ''No Time to Die''.

It is kind of hilarious how the voice of Paddington is advising James Bond!

"Welcome to rush hour on the tube." Mate that is not rush hour. That is light.
  • @EaglesFastAndLow
Q literally waited two whole seconds between saying "Bond" and "Get on the train".

Everyone must be thinking why the hell is a guy in a suit chasing a police officer 😂
  • @lasse5554
“He’s keen to get home” “Health and safety carry on” That’s so British😂😂

This is my favorite Bond film! I saw it when it came out in theaters back in 2012, and man -- what a freaking TRIP! I remember clinging onto my boyfriend during the final fight when the house was burning down.... Gosh, those were good times....

he was 44 when he was in this movie, he played bond at a older age than some and killed it

In german the old man said: "I'm sure he had no ticket"

How awesome is this scene, the camera work , the dialogue and even the chase sequence

I think a great aspect of this scene regarding Q is his youth and naivety exposed a slight lack of experience to stop the hack and escape while also still showing that he's the right guy for the job. Ben Whishaw is brilliant in the role and Des Llewelyn would be proud.

The best scene. Skyfall will forever be my favorite Bond movies

I like how the skull (0:19) looks like the ones in Mexico during the Dia De Muertos festivals. Nice easter egg foreshadowing given that SPECTRE would be set there.

This scene alone is why Skyfall is the greatest 007 movie to this date.
  • Q: “Of course it will. Put your back into it.” Bond: “Why don’t you come down here and put your back into it?” One of the funniest things in this movie😂
