As a fellow speedrunners I really do appreciate the hardware breakdown even if I'm already aware of it for what's needed. Although I'll add something like Pokemon where they require everything to be on official hardware and I believe don't even allow emulator at least for the older Generations it's worth pointing out how much you're paying to do a speed run because they won't let you do that.

Jesus, no route 101/103 encounters into a 5% tackle miss into a 3% corruption? Even with the Pooch crit (~6%) that was still pretty incredible luck all around. Easily could've been sub 1:30, very good run for time invested.

The way simulated rolls work seems really interesting. Like, i feel like on 16 HP its actually worth going for the attack, because the NPC needs to hit 2 max damage rock tombs in a row effectively thanks to the sim roll. Assuming i understand that correctly

Btw, if an animal/pokemon got big teeth or claws, a bare hands human/prof birch can' t take him, im telling you 2 days ago i saved my dog from a bite but i got bited so hard on my right hand that now i understood that as humans we win cause intelligence and crafting weapons but naked we are weak.

Im old now and i spammed original red version as a kid, but Emerald really became my favorite game when it came out. Still one of the best balanced and best overall games in the entire series.
