Old Puppet : You can't do anything during 17 seconds New Puppet : Simple Jumpscare

Old fnaf 3 is better, the new one just doesnt have this atmosphere, the ambience. Even the old night's start sound gives me chills to this day

That staring contest with the puppet is what makes the old f3 is better than the plus. I don't know why they thought it's much better to remove that part for the f3 plus.

One of the only things I preferred in the new one is the animatronics in the cameras which are a little more creepy imo. I also liked the random delay before the phantom jumpscares, like you know it’s coming but you don’t know when, which reminded me of the power loss jumpscare in fnaf 1. However the jumpscare is so weak in the new one that it doesn’t do its effect

Also one of the best parts of Fnaf 3 is that you don't get to see Springtrap's face until way into the second night creating a sense of mystery and tension as to what springtrap even is, the Main menu only shows a silhouette and the Cameras do that too(except for the vent cams but they're pretty blurry too and he's usually too far away to see him clearly, the only way to see him clearly is when he's standing right in front of you in the hall or when he jumpscares you

It def needs better audio design but the visuals are great. I think the puppet should have stayed the same in terms of mechanics, it was a lot more creepy having it stare at you for a prolonged duration and it raises your anxiety knowing that Springtrap is making his way towards you while you're stuck with the puppet.

Erh. It doesn't do it for me. Scott has a very particular style that isn't appreciated enough but when you put it side by side with this, it really shows. It's more subtle, simpler while still being very detailed. This feels like it's just "too much", I don't know how to describe it. Also... if you're going to make an intro sequence where it's just you walking, please use more and better footstep sounds.

tbh they did Phantom Puppet kinda dirty with that jumpscare lol Phantom BB on the camera is actually pretty damn scary tho

Nothing beats Scott Cawthon. He is legendary. He has been making games even before fnaf

I suppose the saying less is more applies here, while the new design looks visually clean, the old game had a more broken and forgotten vibe which fits the theme I think the game wants to be

Old one is better in nearly every way Scott’s work cannot be replicated

I feel like the original FNAF 3 has more of a flash game style, while the new one is more detailed and corporate almost whilest the original is simpler
  • i think its nice to have remastered verisons of old fnaf games, as it makes it a similar and unique experience. looks great, and obviously people will prefer the original games to do as a playthrough, but i know dawko and fuzionZgamer will flock to this game.
  • @Gojilynx
theres too much detail and definition in the remake, the lower quality and less visibility in scott's games are really what add to the mystery and horror, remaking them to be clear and precise just makes it less scary and destroys any mystery or other atmosphere, not to mention the jumpscares and the spunds for them just arent great at all
  • @rrp662
I love how Scott is making good animations and details just for the sake of our enjoyment
  • @TaggedUSER
The new springtrap looks so goofy with it being cross-eyed
  • @Ale_F
CĂłmo consiguen hacer que el sonido del jumpscare sea aĂşn peor?
