I know the Yes To Carrots does for sure. It doesn't do anything to your curl pattern though. It acts as a ph balancer in conditioners. As long as it's toward the end of the ingredient list it doesn't alter the hair. They use an extremely small amount in the lab since sodium hydroxide is so strong only to stabilize the ph of products. It's doesn't have the same effect as using a relaxer or texturizer.

those Yes to conditioners broke out my face, the only conditioner to do that to me, my hair loved it but my face didn't.
