  • I have been playing Fender Telecasters and Stratocasters since 1977. I have owned only USA made only my friend and I ordered the same butterscotch blonde for grins to throw in my collection and I have really played this Squire more than any guitar I own since I purchased it. I changed the saddles out for brass for looks but sounds just like a telecaster should. I am extremely satisfied with this guitar and only wish this Squire was around when I first started. Used to shop at Peaches on Camp Bowie Blvd. in Ft. Worth Texas to top it off. Thanks for the post. I just subscribed!

Bought one a couple of months ago after trying it out locally and I like it a lot. It was very good out of the box. A couple of swipes with a sanding sponge fixed a few sharp fret ends. To improve the intonation I replaced the saddles, first with compensated Wilkinsons, and finally approached perfection with Fender’s vintage compensated brass saddles for $25. Its all the tele I need.

Loved my first one so much I got a second one and Keifed it up to a 5 string open G tuning and added the brass saddles to the new one since the first one came that way. Love them both and the brass did help the sustain and tone.

Thanks for sharing, I have one of these classic vibe telecasters it's so great, but it's 7 years ago played all the time I don't gig out on it but, absolutely no issues with wearing out the frets and like you said I like it worn in it's fantastic

Glad to see it comes with steel saddles, the way a tele should.

Im in awe that you have a vintage 8 track receiver! Amazing how great these inexpensive Tele's play and sound. At first I thought you were bustin loose some Nugent!!!Great demo and pickin' Cheers man!
  • Nicely Done! I got the same guitar on sale from Fender a couple of months back - thought I was going to return it, so got a player at the same time w/a trade in. King story short , Loved the Squier so much more - esp the neck feel - when my youngest said she missed the Gretsch I’d traded, it cemented the decision to send the player back, and no regrets whatsoever - GREAT guitar 👍

I used to have a similar shirt and a bunch of wooden peaches records crates back when I lived in Tulsa. I have a 2020 Indonesian CV with MIM Tele parts. Sounds like a brighter MIM Tele. Nice video!

Wickedly beautiful 😍, I need one desperately.
  • I got mine back in June. Only changed the bridge to a Wilkinson. I could not be happier. I went into my local shop with the intention of buying a player tele, but liked this one much better, saved some money as well.

Cool stuff!!! I have the bullet tele and it's good!!!
  • @Archtops
I have the Esquire version and it’s one of my favorite gits.

Fine picking there. Just ordered one of these and am on a youtube deep dive looking at videos awaiting my new tele.
  • Great player and video. My white blonde CV 50 had some bridge alignment issues but it felt special, so I did a bit of work, fixed it and kept it. Still, quality should be better for the money you're paying, especially since other companies are offering better value for money, like Harley Benton. Anyhoo, nice channel. I will subscribe. Nice playing!
  • I just bought one of these a few days ago. I love it! Great value for the price. And on a side note...I love the Peaches Records shirt! I used to shop there all the time when it was still open. I had 3 of the peaches crates for my albums! Great memories!
