i'm building this house but with a different color pallete: replaced the cobblestone with deep slate bricks (better use a stone cutter so u save up ur dark cobblestone), replaced the oak logs with birch logs and the stripped logs for white concrete <3 and then i tried some different types of planks to do the flooring and the best one were jungle planks at the basement and birch plank in the first floor. it's turning out so pretty, i like this black/white color scheme with all those red flowers i'm using. i hope this comment helps someone to think outside the box and try different colors for your buildings <3

This is absolutely perfect. Itā€™s simple, yet so much detail and the tutorial is so thorough and easy to follow. Thank you!
  • @Katierose970
This is the first ever house tutorial Iā€™m watching, Iā€™m so glad you added the materials and dimensions need because itā€™s been so helpful
  • @AdmiralPeach
I love this but the roof was really hard to do without knowing what blocks exactly you were using sometimes, please show your hotbar in future! ā¤
  • The roof is always so confusing to me šŸ˜ I canā€™t tell when slabs or stairs or normal stone blocks are placed itā€™s so baffling to me
  • @deadcomet
it is not just the quantity of some materials that varies, but there are multiple items that are just not on the materials list like stone buttons and item frames. Otherwise this is a very nice tutorial, easy to follow along to and very nice speed throughout the video
  • Great house! We're building up a whole medieval mining town around it. Thanks for the build!
  • @ziarislay
Ok so I spent like an hour, counting my the layout blocks over and over again because the bottom two logs weren't lining up and counted your layout over and over and I'm pretty sure that side that has the 6 of the left and the two on the right is actually 7 blocks and not 6
  • Just got back to minecraft and ill definitely be using this as a base inspo for my home, your style is lovely thanks
  • @lemon40277
I noticed that the back area of the house was pretty bare, so i gave it a nice leaf pathway. Resources i used were: azazea purple flowered leaves, stone slabs, oak fences and lanterns for lighting. I love your creation! It really made my mc world a lot brighter and more colourful. Thank you.
  • just finished building this! few things iā€™d like to say - material count is off on multiple things - some materials arenā€™t included in the list - a lot of comments said they were off by one block, this doesnā€™t happen if you pay close attention to the measurements he provides! - itā€™s easy to change things up to what you like! i changed the following : ā€¢ used dark oak instead of spruce ā€¢ chose to not make a mine with the carts and rails, still debating what to make it. ā€¢ completely changed the bedroom and did my own thing with red flowers, beds, book shelves, and paintings ā€¢ chose to only make one wall of chests in the downstairs and instead used crafting tables/other necessities ā€¢ used red carpet instead of green! overall this was a fun house to make although i was overwhelmed at first it only took me a few days!

  • @dottypink3429
I just wanted to say I love your builds and your video style. I love how this house has the mine incorporated. I am working my way through all your videos and cant wait to see the next one. I find them peaceful and inspiring.
  • This tutorial is amazing! So easy to followā€¦ not too fastā€¦ and uncomplicated with no talking! Thank you so muchā€¦ I know there was a list of items at the beginning but the only thing for an older beginner like myself is I donā€™t know what all the items you are using areā€¦. But other than that just great thank you!
