King Magnifico's magic may not be enough for him. 😳🏰🌠 See what happens next in Disney's #Wish now playing only in theaters.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Featuring the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino, the film is helmed by Oscar®-winning director Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones (“Encanto”). Jennifer Lee (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) executive produces—Lee and Allison Moore (“Night Sky,” “Manhunt”) are writers on the project. With original songs by Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, plus score by composer Dave Metzger, “Wish” is now playing, only in theaters.

    - He listen to the advices of his wife - He loves his wife and his kingdom - He said to her "oh my love, Rosas is so lucky to have you, as am I" with so much love in that words Where's the evil thing Disney? Because I don't see it...

I really wish the movie would have dig more into Magnifico's personality, especially because of this scene. Clearly, he loves and cares for his wife but he lets his own ego and fear slowly suppress that love, and once he chooses to use that book, there's no turning back for him.

“But with this book, I fear it commanding you” damn.

I wish we saw more of their dynamic and tackled his past. This is one of the few disney couples I genuinely liked.

I love this couple's dynamic! It shows that even good people with good intentions can fall down a dark path given certain circumstances. And Amaya's choice to help Asha and her friends shows that even loving someone shouldn't stop you from doing the right thing. She's a true queen!

Chis pine did so good with the king' s voice ❤
  • I know people wanted a villian version of this couple, but i actually like their chemistry here. He really does love her, hearing her part in Knowing What I Know Now, seeing her partner fall to the darkness, it is heartbreaking.
  • Forever grieving the loss of them as villains together. Ah, what could have been.

People was hating because his villain song was to playful. But this man was a menace❤❤❤😊

Really wished that there was a spell to turn him good like he used to be. It was the the people in town that made him mad, and he felt that they were using him to get their wishes

Queen Amaya is one of my favorite characters in the film!
  • @chakonleung8675
Oh my god... This shows how King Magnifico was actually a good king in nature. He loved his citizens and his wife so much, and he also tried to be fair in granting people's wishes to prevent chaotic consequences. Just how stupid it is for Disney to have a naive girl gaslighting the King and calling for a rebellion to him!!!
