How to be the Silent Witness that is not Suffering your Experience

Returning to simply being the witness of your experience can be said to be one of the main spiritual practices that you must implement during the day.

The witness is silent, judgement-less, unbiased, uninvolved, unperturbed, and free from suffering the content of experience.

Today I will share with you a simple pointer which will help you carry out this practice in a clear and easy manner throughout the day.

Doing so will begin to melt away your mindโ€™s dysfunction.

It will begin to dissolve the identification with your thoughts and feelings.

It will begin to cleanse and purify the dense mind, helping you wake up to what lies beyond mere appearances.

    "One of the most profound and important aspects in all of your education, regardless of what you do in life, is alertness. It seems so commonplace that no one thinks of it when they talk about personal development, spiritual training and so forth. People talk about awareness, but awareness is not the same as alertness. When you are alert, you are watching things around you. When you are aware, you are rarely aware of things around you. You are aware of yourself thinking of things around you. When you are alert, you are looking with very little thinking involved. If you were trying to listen to a conversation in the next house down the street, you would have to listen very carefully. You could not be thinking, โ€œHow am I doing right now? Here I am listening to the conversation in the next house. Why am I here anyway? Whatโ€™s going on with me?     True as it is, this work is not the complete work. We need to work with insight, wisdom, understanding, feelings and the biology of trauma also. Otherwise it can end up being a huge journey of ego-based spiritual bypassing.

There is this sudden flaring of emotions which needs to be addressed,and i have understood beyond doubt that i need to know my true nature and i need to detach myself from all accumulations.     I love how I know the truth about the voice inside. โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ I remember me being a child , the teacher ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ ask a question. I knew the answers and was going to raise my hands ๐Ÿ™Œ up . But I couldnโ€™t do it because all I heard in my head was donโ€™t do it . I put both hands on my head and said why . Manโ€ฆ I was so sad ๐Ÿ˜ญ. But itโ€™s coo. This is present ๐ŸŽ and Iโ€™m all for it.
