  • My son hurt his finger at work and had it wrapped up. He went to a Chinese Takeaway to get lunch and after giving his order for chips, the young woman behind the counter said “ Sore finga?”. My son went into the story of how he hurt his finger and the woman said “ No no, sore finga?”. This went on for some time before my son realised she was asking him if he wanted ‘salt and vinegar’! This was years ago and it still makes me laugh out loud!
