    It's completely balanced you see. Equal input to output ratio. You murder a village and breed 2 rats into 50, and then you can kill the wither, simple as that.

    Honestly the rats munching on food instead of bringing it to you is the kind of life and personality pets NEED in this game. Cats and wolves have always felt like useless decoration, so having aesthetic things like that is just...beautiful

    Now the only thing I can think of is pairing this with the create mod to make a massive auto farm, conveyor the food into a Rat Pit, and using the love staff to summon an ungodly number of rats.

    Petition to add a rat that thrives on potatoes and poison potions and has a big fuzzy Russian hat. "Ratsputin". Bonus points if they're frustratingly difficult to kill.

    I would love to see Zombie Villages spawn zombie rats that are hostile, perhaps even a large and deadly "sewer rat" boss (if not a method to spawn one.)

    I found this mod when I was looking through small custom origins for my SMP, it was required for a rat origin datapack and boy I'm so in love with them!
