I was required to read The Diary of Anne Frank by middle school but I didn’t hear the word Nakba one time and was not taught ANY history of the modern middle east in 18 years of American public schooling, including getting a university degree in religion, until looking it up myself after Oct 7th. Fool me once, shame on you… I know who the liars are.
