I'd say the jump that makes the biggest difference (on my phone) is 360 to 480. Such a small number jump but it goes from not being able to read any text and very blurry video to being able to see letters clearly and the ability to understand what's going on in the video

Well joke on everyone, today they announced the premium price going up( I’m not sure if it’s global or some regions) and in Canada it’s a 5$ increase to give you an idea. So here’s the 4K bill lol

I will always use Ad Block at least until the internet figures out how to make ads safe if you accidentally click on them and make them less intrusive (no flashing, no animation, just text with some small picture maybe and something clearly showing it is an ad, not a link to more content). That will probably never happen, so I will always use Ad Block if I can. I'd rather be as safe as I can as some sites intentionally make it easy for you to "miss-click" onto an ad.

something ive learned with uploading to youtube is even a 1080p video can benefit from being uploaded in 4k because it reduces the compression that youtube applies.

i wouldn't have to use adblock if youtubers didn't stick 15 different ads in a 20-40 minute video. EDIT: daum that’s a lot of comments

This whole adblock thing only started because print media started to go over the top with their online ads and popups, if we are real youtube ads were not that bad and it only started after there were adblocks. Today it is extreme vs extreme.

Watching YouTube on my 4k monitor really drives me to watch in 4k because the difference is so big, but most of my watch time is on my phone so it doesn't matter either way

One of my favorite fast food restaurants is Dickey's BBQ because they have a free self service soft serve machine by the sauces and drink machine, the food is pretty good by fast food standards too but the free ice cream is something special.

The thing is that I totally agree with him and the points he made in the video. I thought I would disagree with everything and ended the video 100% supporting the idea of charging for the 4k quality

I use an ad blocker on my phone. on my console I don't mind the ads but when the ads are longer then the video now that's a issue

I am more than happy to use 3 adblocks to block every ad known to man. Havent even seen the Yemen ad in 2017. Thank you for creating them.

I always choose 4K when the option is there and can't stand how 1080p looks stretched and kind of misty on my 4K display.

9:00 It's a different story in VR headsets though, where your eyes are so close to the screen.
