Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! In this video we go over step-by-step instructions on how to remove and modify the fat suit padding for The Mandalorian by Hot Toys in order to improve his articulation and posing abilities. Although the "Beskar Deluxe" figure is featured, this modification process also works for the original Durasteel Mandalorian!

What I like about these videos is they show how durable Hot Toys really are. We tend to handle them with kid gloves, but they can actually be pushed pretty hard without having to worry.

The end result is great! It makes the helmet look like theres actually a person underneath in there now, not just all one piece.

This extensive step by step is sooo appreciated, I will 100%be doing this & would have NEVER had the balls to try it without a guide. PS : that Iron Spidey being "pulled off" by Mjolnir pose is pure awesome.

Massive thank you for uploading this tutorial. It gave me the knowledge and confidence to modify my Beskar Mando. Blown away with the results. It makes a world of difference. In addition, I cut the remaining fat suit into a 'singlet' to bulk out the torso. Once you re-sew the stitching at the back it's nice and secure. Thanks again.

Just got this amazing figure set yesterday, and I immediately ran here to this video to remove the fat-suit today. I absolutely LOVE it MORE now! I'm so happy you tutorial was here and that I made this mod. I just went with removing the suit, not cutting it up, but putting it back in the box, just to hold onto. Thanks again! Dude....Ive had my Durasteel Mando since December of last year.....Ive always hated the fat suit and I know there are many other videos showing how to remove and modify it, but I was always so nervous to even attempt it.....this was the first video that made me ACTUALLY FEEL like I could do it....and I did!!! Within half an hour of watching this, I had him modified and ready to go.....thank you so much for the tutorial man.....greatly appreciated

You can tell Hot Toys goes above and beyond since the whole undressing and dressing probably is how the actual costume is wore.

Great video! Thank you very much, I followed the instructions and the result is just so much better than with the original suit. I modified and kept the upper torso, so the figure wouldn't loose buffiness, but I did remove the bicep part to maintain flexibility (like a vest). Awesome tutorial!

Thank you so much! I did exactly the same with my Chrome Mando, and now he is much more mobile. I also like that he has become a little thinner. This is my first Hot Toys figurine, and without your video, I definitely would not have dared to dismantle the costume.
