You also need to discover all of the islands corners and you'll get a "surveyed" ticket for each of them and a map for your locker

8:55 - Naut has a charge hold that can be used in squid form by holding fire, it also has a bit less range but perfect accuracy and better shot speed.
  • Wait, people actually struggle to get power eggs? I skipped all of the levels in sites 5 and 6 to get to Big Man.
  • @buzzingbee09
3:40 well actually it's not just because of video game logic and plot armour, but inkling's and octoling's don't actually have any bones!

The level where you were given the flingza roller probably would have been easier if you knew about vertical flicks. Basically rollers flick in a straight line if you are in the air when you use them. And the Flingza's whole gimmick is that while it's horizontal flicks are short and fast, it's verticals are longer and slower. Also funnily, the Squiffer is one of my long time favorite weapons in the series and even I struggle with the levels they stick it in. It's the issue of they're giving you a tool that's not as well suited for the level as a way of upping difficulty.

After Alterna mentally exhausted me. I spent all morning trying to beat it and I nearly cried of happiness when I did. My heart was beating fast and I was sweating bullets

I find it funny watching all these youtubers not being able to use tilt controls. To me it feels so much easier and natural.
  • @Starrydraws
That endgame reference about the stupid target levels is just Chefs kiss perfect. Target levels are the bane of my existence
  • @Manntos
We had a No Pineapple vs Pineapple Splatfest in Splatoon 2, and No Pineapple won, meaning it's, by law, wrong to put pineapples on pizza in the Splatoon world. Also, that's a CHARGER, you're supposed to charge your shoots with it... And let the motion control on, after you get used to it, aiming becauses away better. 100% worth it.
  • @KrakenG927
I like the target popping levels they’re not that bad. (I am a motion controls user of that clears things up)
  • Oh god it’s so weird seeing someone who hasn’t seen the first two games. Splatoon did the color titles for both games 💀
  • @0Dexter00
"I've 100% splatoon 3" And yet not a single area is fully surveyed Fie fie.
  • @heyyitsquid
Motion controls would make those pesky target levels easier than most of the normal ones.
  • @fadez420
fun fact: you only need to beat every level and explore every last inch of alterna for 100% completion I should know I did it...
  • @spin6420
It's so hard to watch someone play splatoon story mode without playing 1 and 2 first
  • @MarimuDesu
You 100%’d splatoon 3 by completing all the levels. I 100%’d splatoon 3 by painting every single possible surface. We are not the same.
  • @8-bit400
"Pineapple does belong on a pizza!" The rest of the world:"Are you sure about that?"
  • @OG_Yaki
I automatically did 100% the second I saw that you could play each level with different weapons, I loved it
  • 18:04 With. Motion. Controls. It is the ONLY aim correction available in-game that is compareable to Mouse and keyboard elsewhere. Use the sticks for big main aiming movement and motion to fine-tune the aim after.
  • as a person who has played splatoon 1, 2 and now 3, completing all story modes as well. Watching you not use motion controls hurt, i feel you would have been able to do this faster if you put in the extra few minutes to learn them. still this is a amazing achievement especially considering u did not use motion controls.
