  • I think overall, the cozy community is burnt out on farming games. We need the next wave of fresh ideas and I see plenty in the pipeline or even some cool spins on the farming genre.

I regret buying Faefarm up to this day. This game was so horrendously overpriced for what it is, I wish I could get some money back from it. 😔

I would love a new Hamtaro game on the switch or whatever new console Nintendo may or may not be working on. 😭 It's been so long since games like Ham-Ham Heartbreak and Ham-Hams Unite.
  • @MatthewNY94
I'm the opposite with Zelda games. I would LOVE to see more of the old school style back; I just never cared for the open world format.

I regret buying fashion dreamer.. I was bored so quickly with the lack of a story and I feel it was very over priced for what we got.
  • I highly recommend Palia for Switch etc. it’s a free game and it’s incredible! It’s a gorgeous game and I think if you give it a chance you will fall in love love with it!

This may sound controversial to some, but I was really disappointed by Paleo Pines. The dinos are really cute, but I expected the game to have more substance and a storyline to it. I didn’t expect it to be a game mainly for kids, I guess. I stopped playing it midway for these reasons. I feel horrible for saying that because so many people seem to love it, and I honestly wish I loved it as much as everyone else seems to, but I think my expectations may have been too high, initially, that I could never really appreciate it for what it was afterward.😔😞

You’re one of those reviewers whose opinions on games are ALWAYS incredibly similar to mine, so I REALLY appreciate your honest review of these games! Nowadays I feel like reviewers online are focused on promoting anything/everything for money’s sake. it’s good to know where the stinkers are bc I do not have the extra money to waste on mid games 😅 thanks for the vid!

My issue with shiny hunting is I can't SEE the damn pokemon half the time XD
  • @Katzenjammer82
fae farm should be cheaper just because of how unappaling the characters are to look at, even for 20 quid i'd have to weigh up if i wanted to play as a smug lego

I agree with fasion dreamer, I was so hyped and then let down. I said to friends that it gave me vibes of a mobile game (how empty the world is, the 'multiplayer', the gatcha system etc) and honestly it still gives me that with how events work in the game (you get a few quests, get gems and then you get the next lot of quests) they all give the vibe that there was meant to be microtransactions but they decided not to implement them. I also could not get into splatoon 3! And you have convinced me to keep waiting on coral island, I do actually have plenty of games to keep me going and after being let down by a few games in a row that i was hyped for (for the king 2, pokemon violet and fasion dreamer) I very much brought back my comitment of not preording games and waiting to see what the final product is. Whenever the peach game comes out I hope to see your thoughts on it though!

The best Story of Seasons game to me is Trio of Towns but it's for the 3ds
  • I think GameFreak got complacent. They know the games will sell well, so they don't put a lot of effort into making the games good. Since playing BotW and TotK, I've gone back and started playing the older games on NSO. Like a lot of games, I just google when I get stuck.
  • @cataclysmic75
I regret buying Fashion Dreamer because it was so expensive yet short. Pokemon Violet is one of my favorites... I don't really care about Shiny hunting, and I've actually not had any issues with the game at all- not even technical issues.
  • @mozart2jazz
100% with you on Splatoon 3, as I had a near identical experience with it. A few years back, Splatoon 2 was one of my most-played games; was always fun, & I rarely tired of playing it. But I felt like all the other Splatoon 3 players were semi-pro, tournament level competitors. So frustrating!
  • @jasg7894
For Fashion Dreamer, I recommend sticking to Style Savvy instead. I agree with much of your choices
  • @massiecure8422
ahhhh I'm so grateful i hadn't bought fashion dreamers because i can't imagine playing such an expensive dress up game without "quests". i loved style savvy and i wished they went back to the format of working in a boutique and handle a customer's specific requests one at a time
  • @just_kyashi
It’s funny cause Pokémon Violet is probably my MOST played Pokémon game. It’s a real shame that the performance is terrible and the lack of Voice Acting really takes you out of the immersion. Hopefully gen 10 will step things up!
  • @MrOpz
Link's Awakening surprises me, kind of. With these older style Zelda games it basically comes down to talking with every character and reading any sign you come across to progress the game. I agree about the price vs its length and the fact that this the 3rd iteration of the game. But it is a complete remake unlike the first two versions. And the dungeon builder is fun as well and if you have the amiibo you could share your own dungeons with other players and play theirs.
