I think it’s important to recognise that even if your mind can’t fully grasp some of these concepts, it doesn’t reflect on your salvation. Blatantly denying them is one thing, but you can be uneducated and illiterate and still be saved by the grace of God without understanding these things fully. Be blessed! 😊

As i Catholic I've esperienced many arguments with protestants about Virgin Mary where they told me that she is't mother of God just his "human part" or whatever. Good to know this heresy has an actual name.

Recently started becoming a Christian after being an edgy athiest for much longer than I would like to admit. These videos have been super helpful with helping me understand the faith. Thank you so much!

My dad had never explain the trinity when I was a kid, and I wasn’t forced to go to any church or forced to learn the Bible, which made me sort of a uneducated Christian. When I started to get more interested in my faith, I watched YouTube videos like these to expand my knowledge of my own faith and other faiths in comparison. When I finally learned the trinity, my dad almost denounced it as if it was too complicated to understand and too dogmatic, since he grew up in a Catholic household and sometimes goes to Protestant baptists or nondenominational churches. He didn’t even say Jesus was God just the Son of God. I later explained those things to him, as well as predestination and free will to him, and he seemed to understand and was no longer hesitant to admit the Jesus is the one true God, and I’m thankful for the countless videos and knowledge my fellow Christians pursue and make. Even though I am now even more confident in my beliefs as I’ve won multiple debates against my atheist friends, I and still learning about the vast archive that is what we know of God

I remember studying Gnosticism in high school. Like you said RZ, the lore is ridiculously complex and confusing to the point that it’s basically just a different religion that uses Christianity as the foundation. In Gnosticism the “God” of the Old Testament is not even God. He’s some demigod or some sort of lesser god. It’s worth studying to understand how pervasive this idea of “spiritual good, physical bad” is and how it has affected modern Christian sects. Interesting side note: The creators of the Matrix movies are Gnostics. The films are essentially Gnostic allegories. My literature teacher had my class watch the first movie at home and try to pick out where the Gnostic influence/message came into play.
