My husband died from a massive heart attack. It was so quick. They couldn't save him. I know he is in a much better and beautiful place.

“Our lives are not about what we do but who we are”! Matt said that in this episode and he is a great example of how we can be better if we focus on what is important. 🙌

I swear everyone describes dying an amazing experience
  • What Anthony said ‘don’t be afraid when I die, I will be more alive, reminds me of what D.L. Moody said, ‘someday you will read in the papers that D.L. Moody, of East Northfield, is dead. Don’t believe a word of it! At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now’! For we who believe (and live for) Christ, it is that quiet assurance that gets us through the darkest of days!

I'm watching this three weeks before I go to surgery for breast cancer. I guess in a way, this makes it a little easier. Just in case, ...

Imagine having a heart attack but being married to a cardiac nurse. What a blessing. Glad he listened to her even if he didn’t believe her at first
  • This one is a really good one to watch. I enjoyed each and every one of their stories. I Survived are my favorites. When people acknowledge God as their reason for survival and that they come back because they still have a purpose and something to share with the world. That's always the best acknowledgment. I've been at deaths door a few times. I've had an out of body experience. Until you have been there. You can never imagine the beauty it holds 🙏💜.

My husband died 3 times - he had cardiac arrest, they brought him back, died again in the ambulance, died again at the er- I asked him later- “do you remember anything after you died?” He said “like what?” Frustrated I said “you know did you see a bright light?” He said “no, I didn’t see anything “ I asked “Well did you feel hot flames hear people screaming?” He said “wth is wrong with you” 😂😂😂

“ I sent a bug man down in that hole and I pulled a preacher back.” That was the most touching moment

I hate how they split the stories.
  • This is the best episode I've seen thus far. These 3 people have a presence and quality of voice that are very soothing and convincing. Anyone in their vicinity, whether a friend, acquaintance or family member, is truly blessed.

Matt learned from his survival that his purpose for which he is put into this world doesn't sieze up to what he do or have accomplished BUT IN WHO HE IS.... I think this is the MOST positive encouraging Word I've heard about a learning experience such as this. And I agree. AMEN
