Remove in one minute? I can remove them in about 15 seconds with my teeth.

When eating corn on the cob, sometimes I eat one row at a time using my teeth to pull off the whole kernels. It takes longer, but it's somehow satisfying.

Oh so it’s for purpose….. when I was a kid, I did that cas I thought it was satisfying lol

WTF?!?! This is 10x better than any other video I've seen, most make you cut it and you don't get ANY full kernels. thank you!!!
  • This same method was taught to me by my mom whn i was 15yrs old... but she says pluck the 1st row slowly... then remaining we can easily do it with thumb... nice to see that u r using the same method as well.

Perfect... this is exactly what I've been looking for! I want the entire kernel, not a hacked and smashed kernel that looses some of its flavor and snap in a recipe. Yes, I can still use my corn stripper and cordless drill set-up for fast removal, but sometimes I need the whole kernel, unmolested. Deeps was right... is simple! Thank you.
  • Break it in half and you can do the same pushing motion to pop the kernels out like you are doing. Go in a circular pattern starting at the break line instead of rows. It is easier than getting started with a spoon. Less you wanted to keep the cob whole for some craft project or something.

Just break the corn into halves, then you can get them with no mess. Unlike her method of removing the seeds vertically, the method I mentioned is to remove horizontally.

My dad taught me the same process when I was 5 year old.and now this is on youtube with so many views . Wow!
  • @Djpetegordon
Thanks, impressed how well this really works!! Tricky getting that first row, but so worth it for the no wastage with the rest of the kernels 👍
  • @time2cclear
thank you , im 50 and i never knew this . i always used a sharp knife and sliced down the cob and the corn never tasted this good . have a blessed day
  • @TRSevenboi
Thank u so much very helpful. Where has this video been all my life!?!?
  • @fesswah
This way is good, but hardly doable in 1 minute. I like how it gets ALL the corn kernel out - cutting them off leaves too much on the cob.

Big thanks madam. My wife was puzzled with those sweet corns...I learnt the trick from you and won her heart.
  • @vwood2
