I think this one turned out really well and love the fact that it was an upcycled project. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to a thrift store or flea market to find containers and other items for your builds. I always find the best things when I do.

I really like the way this one turned out and I was very excited to share with you! What do you think? Now I'm inspired to swing by the thrift store today and see what I can find... wish me luck!

He took off his wedding photo from the wall, that’s what you call dedication

I don't know why but it kinda reminds me of a traditional japanese painting. Except that it's the real deal and not a painting. Or it's just me. Superb build as always.

I love this project, I would gladly replace my wall hangings with something like this! Thanks!

Wow - that literally went a different direction than I thought it would.... Came out so nice. I wonder if something like this would work well with miniature orchids. The vertical aspect of it I think would complement the pendulous flowering patterns of many of the species.

Tanner, I must say that you--who routinely puts out high quality builds--have really outdone yourself this week. Top-notch stuff. Please keep us updated on its long-term health/success, I'd love to replicate this.

that is gorgeous! I wonder if LED tape would be useful for supplemental lighting (mainly for night viewing). I love this!

Looks totally gorgeous! 😍🙌

I love this! I've always loved living walls, and have some outdoors. You have bought it to the next level. Simply spectacular! ✌

This is right in line with what I have envisioned for my Living Room Renovation!! Husband has given me a green light for turning one useless window (there is now a bedroom on the other side) into a Living Space for plants and mosses from our woods. What hubby doesn't know is that is going to be the focal point...and the Living walls will continue on through the room. This project is perfect! Thank you!!!

Wow! If I hadn't chosen to live in a relatively sunlight devoid space, this would definitely be part of my decor design. Simple, yet innovative, its so natural in feeling that you wonder why it is not a common ploy to get green into more of our lives.

this guy is a decorative handyman, a painter, terrarium/aquarium designer, content creator, and most of all, (i think) a dad

This has to be my favorite one you’ve done. I love how you take everyday items and make living art.
-
I was literally looking up how to do this yesterday
-
This is my favorite project you’ve done so far. Beautiful!
-
You outdid yourself, Tanner. This came out, awesome! So cool.

Dangit, Tanner. There should really be a contest where everyone submits pictures of the random oddball glass containers they happen to have and let the winners send them in for a build. This one is seriously tempting me to build a horizontal version for my cubby at work!
-
I love this! I've always admired living walls but I had thought of them (with no real logic/research backing) as being technologically difficult to create or maintain and out of my reach price wise. This actually feels doable!
-
Absolutely gorgeous. Great job Tanner

You could use a toolbox (such as the one you used for your terraining tool kit) for your moss growing. Of course it has to be open when growing the moss, which may take up some space, but there are still small sections for starting out various moss colonies and a big section for developed colonies!
