I remember watching this match live. It was typical Dubai/Sharjah hot Friday afternoon. The first ball by Wasim to Ramesh, the third ball lbw and the fourth ball out to Dravid. Pakistan team during those days was on FIRE. India Pakistan games in Sharjah were always fun to watch. Whether it was Saurav, Dravid, Tendulkar, Azhar batting, Kumble balling or Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib balling and Saeed Anwar and Afridi opening with Inzi in the middle order. As a Pakistan Cricket fan, I have to say India got better with the likes of Sehwag, Yuvraj, Bhajji, Irfan and Zaheer Khan. Ganguly built that team.

If there was DRS at that time,then wasim would have added 200 extra wickets in his total odi wickets.

During 90 th to Mid 2000 Pakistan Team were Always Favourite To win Series , Even Australia & South Africa were Second Favourite , What A Strong Team was pakistan in Those Golden Cricket Eara .

In the 90s Pakistan were head and shoulders above us as a team. What a team! Such legends.

Those were the days. We miss the Indo-Pak contest very badly. Pak were the dominant team in those days but master class of Sachin and lofty hits of Saurav still revolve in the mind. Wish we have more such thrillers in future
