Who Is Ollie In Poppy Playtime Chapter 3? - Story Explained

The thing is, Ollie tried to convince to us trust Poppy and that she needs us to help her. If he was the Prototype, then he should be doing the opposite.

I think that Ollie is actually a different toy, thus explains how his voice isn’t deeper or matured, and in terms of survival, just like poppy survived in the case for so long till the player got her out in chapter 1, same case is for Ollie. I personally feel Ollie isn’t the prototype, but in fact a genuine person and someone who actually wants to help us. On the other hand, I think we should keep an eye on Poppy. I feel something off about her vibe. She seems very fishy.

When the prototype says 'Do you feel it' it sounds exactly like when CatNap threatened the player to leave.

I think Ollie is Baby long legs. That's the only other character we've seen carboard cut outs (Excluding Daddy Long legs, Kissy, Huggy ) of in Chapter 3 which I think are solid hints of sorts.. Maybe his name is Ollie long legs ? sort of has a ring to it? but my other theory regarding Ollie being an orphan is it could be possible for the Orphans to have survived as there could of been procedures in place for a lockdown bunker type deal and perhaps there was food supplies tucked away. It would also explain why the hostile toys can't get to them because they are sealed away but who knows. I'm honestly so excited for chapter 4 !

First thing I thought when I heard Ollie the first time: Is that Gregory from FNAF?!

Bobbi being ollie is a really good theory but something that has been bothering me is on the part of the game when they explain a young boy remains being found in elliots estate being brought up with 0 followers ups the whole chapter. What if ollie is that young boy who obviously was experimented on missing key organs and bones and is currently a toy who retains a young child voice.

The other day I had an idea about ollie. I think ollie is the voice talking in the project playtime foresaken trailer. The voices are very similar. If your theory about bobby bearhug is true, the whole foresaken monolouge in the trailer would make so much sence

at first, i thought ollie was the phone. then i realized he was ON the phone. i still stick to my theory that ollie is the phone (even though im pretty sure hes not lmfao)

(Side Note: I say the prototype is actually helping us or doesn’t want to hurt us because he has had every opportunity to do so but hasn’t. I mean Cat Nap literally had us in the beginning and Ollie stated Cat Nap found us first. So if he wanted us dead we would be dead. Also Cat Nap never attacks us till we continue switching the smoke over and refuse to leave and keep doing what Poppy and “Ollie” say. I have a feeling that the prototype is actually Ludwig and I think we are Rich or the guy on the tape retiring since the game developer showed us the tape for a reason. We also weren’t there at the time when the Joy occurred, so we may have retired at that point. Or we are a toy ourselves since we never see any human features. Nor can we remember exactly what took place or who we are or what we did there, maybe we are the daughter of LudWig in toy form and were kept at LudWigs house mostly. Just a theory but I am willing to bet that Poppy is actually Ollie since he or she wouldn’t have known what she told us and why they aren’t speaking at the same time to us. And how poppy said nearly identical lines as Ollie at the end when she was warning us about what is below. The children are either dead or toys or adults hidden somewhere and poppy maybe wants to finish them off. Catnap hid them so the prototype must be protecting them.

Finally some took this theory. When I first heard Bobby BearHug I too felt the voices are little bit similar. I though maybe the voice actor is the same so might be the case. Even Hoppy Hopscotch sounds similar As you pointed out it can't be human cause it's impossible to survive this long and if it's the prototype, why will it help you kill catnap when he worshiped prototype and was the most loyal to him. That doesn't sit right. It may or may not be Bobby BearHug but it's definitely a child trapped in the body of a toy.

Ollie is probably the voice of catnap before he was a monster, hence prototype being able to use this voice so cohesively. They were close. They were going to escape together.

I probably think that “Ollie” is The mysterious Baby long legs because both Characters are a mysterious and we don’t know baby long legs intentions or voice

Ollie may be the bear from the smiling critters since picky piggy’s cutout doesn’t mention eating a bear. And Ollie is trying to help us, they also said “I don’t wanna lose another friend to this place.* the bear was clingy and trusting. In the bears cutout there were no screaming, meaning they possibly didn’t die just yet. I wrote this comment before he even started to go over the theories so I’m happy someone agrees.😁

She’s definitely the bear. The pig never mentioned eating a bear in the voice lines, also I feel that she managed to hide due to her being so clingy she probably knew where everyone would be or wouldn’t be so she could hide. She also does say don’t leave me again which implies she’s alive

One argument I haven't seen around, but would make perfect sense against Ollie being the prototype: he doesn't mimic voices. He replicates the words he's hearing, nothing else. Why would he stitch together different voices if he could learn to mimic one completely? On the other hand, Ollie is able to adapt to the player's situation. Unless someone told these exact words to the Prototype, he wouldn't be aable to tell them back to us.

Bobby aka Ollie soul is in the computer system..... as we can see the cut outs and machinery can be sentient.... maybe the smiling critters figured out thru poppy or from cat nap n the prototype how to put their souls into other things... that may be why they said the chapter was haunting ... just a theory... gonna reallllly miss matpat

Ollie’s either a new toy or he’s stuck in one of those living machines also huggy was most likely the one that attacked missy. By the way the main reason I say tho was because in the game files right next to kissys room in home sweet home is a room labeled Ollie’s room. So it seems at some point we were able to find Ollie’s room so unless that’s a forgotten plot point I think he was human.

actually, in the trailer for the phase 3 of project: playtime, we can hear ollie say this: "Compassion is the discarded gem of the forsaken, a relic of innocence left behind like a misfit toy! Call me a forsaken Fool, but I am but a wayward plaything cast aside and lost in the depths of abandonment, seeking purpose in the shadows." since they say that they are a "but a wayward plaything", it seems that they're one of playtime co's experiments

I believe Ollie is actually Poppy because Ollie knew what Poppy told us even though he wasn’t there, he calls immediately she leaves and never calls when she is with us, they both sound similar, Poppy says nearly identical lines as Ollie when she warns us to be cautious but doesn’t say what’s there when Kissy gets attacked, And Ollie said something similar when he told us about Ms. Delight..well says someone is in the school and to be careful before cutting out. Just a theory but I think Poppy made Ollie up, so she could get back in our good graces after screwing us over on the train. I think she thought if she had someone vouch for her and act like she was doing something good, we would be more likely to help her. I don’t trust her, Poppy is Ollie and I think the prototype is actually the one who wants us to leave and get out safely.
