  • The fact the Super Mario Party logo scared us must've been a weird psychological thing. These were the same people who made Superstars. Would we have been hyped if the logo was Mario Party 12? 💀

Turns out all you need to do for a good Mario party is not mess with the fundamentals laid out on the GameCube

I actually like partner party. 😢The trailer said there will be more modes so hopefully they bring it back as a seperate mode with its own grid based boards

OK, some people need to make up their minds. Super Mario Party was said to be a "return to form". Then Superstars was said to be the "TRUE return to form". Now we have this? Looks like fans will call anything a "return to form" just to try to erase their memories from 9, 10 and the 3DS games. 🤣

The single problem that sinks Mario Party in Nintendo's eyes is that Mario Party should be equal, and everyone HAS to have a chance to win. This to me completely breaks the system. If you don't win, people just say that you are unlucky and you will win next time. And sure Luck should be a factor but SKILL has to be the backbone of Mario Party with luck as a supplement. Not everyone is going to win and making a game where that is the case ruins the fun of the series.
  • I am definitely getting this game for Christmas it's looks so good I just hope Diddy comes back
  • @Ukysseus
They really need to let us disable the lucky spaces though, it ruined Superstars and I hope it doesn't plague this one

5:02 I actually want a 2v2 mode on board play. But not function like partner party from super with grid based movement but function like regular free for all board play except 2 players together in a team share coins, stars and items. Basically a team mode which was already in mario party for gamecube. I want to play together with a friend against some randoms online.

The 20 player mini games sound great… but… take it from Superstars that can’t even handle 4-player games without some sort of lag or delay, this sounds cool, but part of me is afraid it’ll be a laggy mess

You're trying way too hard to hate on partner party in SMP and I doubt you would if it was shown in Jamboree. That game mode is really good, adds a layer of strategy you can't really replicate. Loads of people love it. Just because it was in a meh game doesn't suddenly mean everything about it was bad. The mini games in SMP were fantastic too.

"Mario party was the most disappointing game buy Nintendo on switch" 💀 Have you Played 1 2 switch?!?
  • @Richard_gaming
I get super Mario party had lacking boards but damn, bros being so harsh calm down my guy
  • I like super Mario party but I don’t like that you only play with one joy con sideways
  • @scubasteevo7013
Where in the trailer did it specifically state or show pro controller usability?
  • I hope the character dice blocks return but make them like the character specific items of other mario party games. Like if you pick Mario, Goomba, Blooper, and Daisy then you should get access to their specific dice blocks from shops to spice up the item variety.

I'm really excited to play this on day 1! Hope reviews will be great too!
