I remember when I was a kid, I found I could make people laugh by doing really stupid shit, so I did it a lot. I was constantly getting hurt or making fun of myself so my 'friends' would find me funny. What I did not realize was they were laughing at me, not with me. It wasn't until I was almost out of school and trying to have a serious discussion about something that I realized that not a single one of them took me seriously, or believed I had the capacity to have deeper thoughts. It was humiliating.

Jack Doherty is basically every negative Gen Z stereotype rolled up into one person. Edit: to be clear, I’m not bashing Gen Z as a whole. Every generation has negative stereotypes attached to it. Since stereotypes are usually a massive exaggeration of a group’s common traits, it’s rare to see someone who actually fully embodies every negative stereotype. But then we have Jack Doherty, who somehow pulls it off.
