If you want to practice Speaking Japanese, but you live in a place where that is not possible (aka not Japan or a major university or a little Tokyo etc) then Italki is a good place to start. You can pretty easily find teachers to improve your Japanese ability at good prices. As of this writing some teachers teach at $6.00 an HOUR!!!!!! What!!!!! I have done these kinds of classes many times. If you have skype and a good internet connection you can do it no matter where you are.     I played this while I took a nap. Whenever my mind would try to fall into a deeper sleep, this would wake me up. I was in this odd half asleep/ half awake state. When I woke up, the video was over, and I felt as if my brain been crammed with information.

    Me sees video . Listens to it and learns Japanese. Another day, New Japanese co worker: hi what's your name? Me: Watashi no namaye wa John desu. Him: But it says Harry on your id. Me(keeps repeating): Watashi no namaye wa John desu.

    I am half Japanese and much of my family only speaks Japanese, and I’ve been wanting to learn it for so long. I know a good amount of these words/phrases just from growing up in a household with the Japanese culture deeply intertwined, but this helps a lot. Thank you!
  • Just be wary that Sayonara is meant for 'going away for a very long time and not likely to see that person again' So you would not need to say it when you pop out to grab some milk from the shop.
