  • People don’t want him because he’s from Sheffield and Burnley and not Madrid or has some flashy hype. It’s time we chose ability and not sign by hype or attention
  • Always thought him good enough for United when i saw him at Sheffield.
  • He'll be a very smart signing that could fill in this season and give us the chance to spend big on a really good DM next season maybe like Wharton or Bruno G
  • @manni192
If we can him and Amrabat in for £30m, just get the deals done asap and spend the rest of the money on De Light and a full back
  • Am I the only one who thinks we need 2 holding midfielders because Casemiro's done and dusted?

Hey fellow Norwegian here, its pronounced Berg-eh ;) I've always rated him highly, and wondered when a top prem club would take a chance on him. He's tidy, industrious, and very rarely makes mistakes - I can't stress how much I recommend him as a squad player for us.
  • Berge & Mandela Kieta for £40m tops would be a great bit of business.

Regular high-calibre content by you AJ with this video that hit all the crucial points surrounding Berge, once United were made aware of the links. I think there's redeemable upside to Berge that a lot of fans are overlooking because he's not a big name or from a notable club. His price means we are no longer being cornered into overspending on players who pose more risk than reward, especially if the signing fails making them harder to sell. It also potentially means we can free spending power to add another cm (something I think is a priority this summer; Mainoo cannot be overplayed, plus other options in Mount, Eriksen, and Mctom are lacklustre). His profile alongside another cm who can play volume passes and offer more control and composure would strengthen our midfield. I like how ambitious he is on the ball and uses his frame well to shield the ball, while reading the game well defensively. I'm definitely open to the signing, but another cm is a must!

bringing in him for mctominay would be fantastic business. Which is why I'm skeptical lol

Perfect stop gap signing. I also wanted him under Ole. Good enough in the first phase, Carrying and ground coverage. Solid 7/10 every week type player and can even play with either Kobbie or Cas as he Complement s their weaknesses.
  • @Rustylad12
He seems to be ticking the boxes for what we need. But he was also the reason Antony finally got to whip out the clowncart Sonic boom celebration💀

He could do a very decent job for us this season while we look to sign the high profile CDM next summer. He is not the most exciting name , which is why some people don't think he is good but he is a good player. I have liked him since his Sheffield united days.
  • @MrJacobsen
A lot of my fellow Norwegian United fans are sceptical to him. But i really think this is a solid singing. As discussed in the video he really gives our team moore meat on the bone Just sign him i promise we dont regret this.
  • United need a midfield destroyer that can sit deep n spray passes that is a traditional number six
  • @JMGamingTv
Anton Stach looks like a better option. Very much a defensive option
  • I have always loved Sander Berge, so glad we are being linked with him
  • @NomadJoe0323
Thank you for this video. He looks decent on the ball and good passer. People are too quick to diss him just because he’s at Burnley.

simple, big and clean gives nice balance as we have many creative types
