Damn, the countryside roads are still so good and clean. Nobody throws trash on the side of the road. This shows how the Chinese government has educated the Chinese to be so civilized.

Note: This kind of home electric motorcycle in China can usually ride about 40-50 kilometers on a full charge, so if you see one-third of the power left on the dashboard, you should pay attention to drive back to charge in a hurry. Otherwise, it will be very troublesome if there is no electricity. The weight of two people increases power consumption, so don't drive too far...

26:00 ❤Naomi & Luke: It's your continued humility, calm personas, curiosity, willingness to explore and share your experiences that has made you so well-loved in China. 🙏

Congrats on having gone from beginner China travel to intermediate travel. You have been promoted from seeing the skyscrapers of the cities to experiencing the natural beauty of China. In fact, the beach vacation tours in China are also worth experiencing. Hainan, Xiamen and Qingdao are also recommended for you to experience too 😁

China keeps their places so clean, even in the village! Impressive!

An Iraqi blogger once said, 'Chinese cities are like rainbows, each with a different color.'. Every city has its own unique culture, scenery, and cuisine, but the residents of each place are the same - they are kind, enthusiastic, and hospitable. This is China, and only China.

In old days, people carry their baby with the same kind of bamboo basket on their back, but bigger and deeper.

Folks, since you are in Dali, you may wanna visit Xizhouzhen喜州镇, a Bai Zu ethnic town which is over a thousand years old. Brian Linden, an American has settle down there and opened a hotel, called 喜林苑 Linden Centre, kind of an international visiting center. The whole town knows Linden. It’s his turf. He’ll be a great host and introduce you to all the wonderful ethnic groups in Yunnan. March on folks and HAVE FUN. 😊❤

In the 1990s, the Chinese government launched a project called "Village Access". All areas across the country, including remote areas, must have access to roads, electricity, water and internet as long as they are inhabited. This is due to the fact that these "lifelines" are state-owned assets. And if our government wants to do something, it must get it done. I remember when I was a kid, slogans everywhere were about caring for the environment and being hygienic. My hometown's rural area is also an area prone to natural disasters. The government rebuilt houses damaged by mudslides and the 2008 earthquake for free and provided solar energy. Ethnic minority houses are also provided with free decoration =. =Hahaha!

A little tip for you that if some yellow or white written papers are sticked on the wall of someone's house and people are chanting, it might mean they're throwing a funeral. But also maybe in some places where I'm not living, it means other things, too. And they seem not offensed so don't need to worry as well. And Chinese people like to buy their friends some drinks or treat a meal. If someone help you a lot, you can also buy him/her a drink or treat a meal. It usually depends on the extent. For example, tell you correct direction——say thank you, help you find something left——buy a drink, guide you all the day——treat a meal, save your children——expensive gifts and friends forever(some parents even let the benefactor be "干爹/干妈" of their kid, which is kind of like godfather in western world). It's the way we show gratitude and friendliness.❤

I noticed that when you entered the village, you found the local women doing their ritual. I believe Luke was eagered to observe it at that moment. But you just stood on the street and just let Naomi film few seconds. Maybe you were afraid you would scare these women (Male, strong, foreigner...), that was very gentle and kind!!

I really like the two foreign tourists. You are very polite, humble, respectful of others, and respectful of the local cultural customs. You are brave in exploration and have pushed the essence of the travel experience to the latest height. Thank you for presenting so many real videos for us. That is people's life.
