President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the names of the members of the seventh administration on Sunday evening.
Ramaphosa appointed several members from different political parties, in establishing the Government of National Unity, as no party received an outright majority in the May 29 polls.

Congratulations to the Honourable Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa, Ministers, and Deputy Ministers. But of all the people sworn in today, I extend a special acknowledgement to Minister Gayton McKenzie, he rewrote his story, from standing before a judge as a criminal with orange overall, shackles and chains to taking a prestigious oath of office in front of the world with a suit, smile, honour and free man.
