This is indeed an enjoyable album. I also like his piano and orchestra discs on Naxos, though at times, the music reminds me of romantic movie music from the '70s. You know what I mean, something Ali McGraw would be in.

This is really good - Dave is right (as always). Breiner has lots of other great CDs too, both classical and contemporary music - quite the talent.

In addition to his other activities, Peter Breiner contributed significantly to the defense of Slovak democratic society in the 1990s by appearing in the satirical talk show "Večery Milana Markoviča" - he not only composed the music for the songs for this show, but also became a great glossator on many topics. The program was even banned due to its popular appeal and unpopularity among politicians. Some parts of the show are retreivable on YT.
