“I guess it depends where it itches” is a perfect way to kick off Saturday morning!

This is indeed an enjoyable album. I also like his piano and orchestra discs on Naxos, though at times, the music reminds me of romantic movie music from the '70s. You know what I mean, something Ali McGraw would be in.
  • This is really good - Dave is right (as always). Breiner has lots of other great CDs too, both classical and contemporary music - quite the talent.
  • In addition to his other activities, Peter Breiner contributed significantly to the defense of Slovak democratic society in the 1990s by appearing in the satirical talk show "Večery Milana Markoviča" - he not only composed the music for the songs for this show, but also became a great glossator on many topics. The program was even banned due to its popular appeal and unpopularity among politicians. Some parts of the show are retreivable on YT.
  • Not sure if you’re aware Dave, but Breiner posted “Pretty good review from a pretty important critic” and linked your video, on his twitter page.
