    Making a bacon and egg sandwich is straightforward and delicious. Here's a simple recipe: ### Ingredients: - 2 slices of bread (your choice: white, whole wheat, sourdough, etc.) - 2-3 slices of bacon - 1-2 eggs - 1 tablespoon butter or cooking oil - Salt and pepper to taste - Optional: cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite type) - Optional: condiments (mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, etc.) - Optional: lettuce, tomato, avocado, or other desired toppings ### Instructions: 1. **Cook the Bacon**: - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, turning occasionally, about 5-7 minutes. - Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. 2. **Cook the Eggs**: - In the same skillet (you can remove some of the bacon grease if there's too much, but leave a little for flavor), crack the eggs.
