The Groudon flying through the air with a Hyper Beam(thats what im guessing its using) is a reference to Godzilla vs the Smog Monster(aka Hedorah) where Godzilla started flying by firing his atomic breath. Its the stupidest thing ever and we all love it. Showa Era Godzilla films were whacky as heck.

Fun fact: Applin is a dragon type because it’s actually a play on words, the worm inside (the model that we don’t see in SwSh) is actually a Wyrm, which is a type of dragon. And it just so happens to be In and Apple, Apple In, Applin.

I liked the photo feature in Alola. In fact, that was why I originally said we didn't need a new Pokemon Snap. Was because we already experienced what it could be. And after so long of experiencing lackluster remakes and sequels to Pokemon games, I honestly figured it wouldn't get any better than that. I'm thankful I was wrong.
